Since 1935, enthusiasts from across the nation have gathered here to witness the unrivaled spectacle of professional cowboys and cowgirls competing in raw, unbridled rodeo events. It’s a celebration that honors our rich heritage and embraces the undying spirit of the Wild West.
Among Utah’s largest, traditional-based annual events, the Ute Stampede Rodeo never fails to impress. Nearly a century old, rodeo enthusiasts from all over flock to this celebration in Nephi. Typically held the second week of July, the Ute Stampede has bull riding, team roping, bucking horses, bronc riding, and much more. With carnival rides, parades, live music, tantalizing food, and the crowning of a rodeo queen, this rodeo proves the cowboy spirit and traditions of the Old West are alive and well in Juab County.
