Juab County Community Billboard Guidelines
Purpose:
The Juab County Community Billboard is dedicated to promoting tourism and increasing overnight stays within the county. It serves as a platform for advertising multi-day events, tourism-related public service announcements (PSAs), and messaging that showcases Juab County as a premier destination.
Usage Guidelines
Tourism-Focused Content
- Advertisements and messaging must directly support Juab County’s tourism efforts by promoting local attractions, events, or experiences that encourage visitor engagement and increase Transient Room Tax (TRT) revenue.
- Content should emphasize recreational activities, historical sites, outdoor adventures, or other tourism-driven experiences unique to Juab County.
Community Events
- Only events that promote tourism or highlight Juab County’s culture and attractions are eligible.
- Events must take place within Juab County and appeal to both visitors and residents.
Public Service Messaging
- Priority is given to PSAs related to tourism, safety, environmental stewardship, and heritage preservation.
Prohibited Content
- Commercial advertisements for businesses, services, or products not directly tied to tourism promotion.
- Political, religious, or personal advertisements.
Submission Process
- Timeline: Submit content at least 30 days in advance for review by the Juab County Tourism Director.
- Design Requirements:
- Dimensions: 1350 x 440 pixels in PNG format.
- Limit text to fewer than 10 words for maximum impact.
- Designs must be professional, clear, and suitable for public display.
- Details: Submissions must include:
- Event date, location, and a description of how it aligns with the billboard’s tourism mission to increase overnight stays and boost TRT revenue.
- A completed submission form (see below).
Approval and Display
- The Juab County Tourism Director has sole discretion to approve, modify, or reject submissions based on their relevance, appropriateness, and alignment with tourism objectives.
- Limited billboard space will be allocated based on the event’s potential to attract visitors and generate overnight stays.
By using the Juab County Community Billboard, all users agree to adhere to these guidelines. Non-compliance may result in content removal and restrictions on future use.
