Find tranquility as you cast your line and wait for a nibble. Take to the water for a refreshing swim. Ride a paddle board or cut through one of the ponds seamlessly in a kayak. The water is so clear even scuba divers pop up from time to time.
Kids love launching off the numerous rope swings hanging from trees to taste the feeling of flight before splashing into the water.
Burraston Ponds overflows with rich history. In 1776, the Escalante Expedition used the area for a campsite. Indian chiefs used the ponds as a meeting place before and during times of war, specifically the Black Hawk War and the Walker War.
